After showing an even heavier direction through the first clip, ‘Silence Will Make You Suffer’, and a dense theme for the album, HIBRIA confirms the special participations of the disc:

The first to appear was the pianist/keyboardist Maurício Pezzi, in the first piano interlude on HIBRIA’s career through the song ‘Deadly Vengeance, check out:

Another major impact will be felt with the participation of the singer André Meyer, from the Thrash Metal band Distraught. The musician participates of the songs ‘Silence Will Make You Suffer’ and ‘Silent Revenge’, check out the clip:

‘Silent Revenge’ will be released in Japan on June 26th and in Brazil on July 13th. Bothe the title and the album have dense a theme based on Argentine film “The secret in their eyes,” a psychological thriller that deals with loss, grief, unfulfilled desires and revenge.

The material was recorded at the studios Hibria and Cidade Baixa under the production Renato Osorio, also guitarist of the group. The mixing was on account of another musician of the house, Benhur Lima, and mastering was done by American Mike Couzzi.

In Japan for the fifth time!

The producer of the band in Japan has just announced another tour through the Land of the Rising Sun, and it is the first time a Brazilian band returns to the country for five consecutive years, always performing packed houses.

As we know, the appreciation between the Japanese audience and the band is something that comes from the release of the band’s first album, ‘Defying The Rules’, which remained for six weeks at the top of the sales in the country. All the other albums from HIBRIA also reached the top position in sales, and the friendship between Brazil and Japan was immortalized with the recording of the DVD ‘Blinded by Tokyo – Live in Japan’. Top of the charts again!

Since 2009 HIBRIA, year after year, HIBRIA returns to Japan to play to crowded concerts and the band has been invited twice to play Loud Park, where they shared the stage with legends such as Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax and Judas Priest.

Talking about festivals festivals, it is worth remembering that HIBRIA’s been confirmed for the biggest festival in Brazil and one of the world’s greatest: Rock In Rio. The group will share the Sunset Stage with Almah on 19/09.

The Party will take place on July 13, the World Day of Rock, at Espaço Cultural in Porto Alegre. During the party, there will be the listening of SILENT REVENGE in its entirety and the sale of the material.

As with its previous albums, HIBRIA is dedicated not only to present a complete musical work, but also a lyrical and visual sector of the same level.

There would not be different in ‘Silent Revenge’, which has dense a theme based on Argentine film “The secret in their eyes,” a psychological thriller that deals with loss, grief, unfulfilled desires and revenge.

The responsible for the cover is none other than the band’s bassist, Benhur Lima, who freed his creativity on a cover full of icons and symbols. Let the musician better explain:

“The overall design of the cover rotates around the subject in focus throughout the album: revenge.

The central icon, symbol of the band since the first album Defying the Rules and accompanying HIBRIA until today, was used to represent the concept of the lyrics as it appears covered by a kind of parasitic plant.

Like the feeling of revenge, the plant grows silent, seemingly harmless, while taking the host completely, blinding him, prevailing over his own will, changing his nature and this one comes into existence only because of it.”

Recently the band released a music video for the song “Silence Will Make You Suffer” which featured the direction by Luís Mário Fontoura, cinematography by Livia Santos, art direction by Ana Musa and assembly and finishing by Denise Marchi. Watch:

HIBRIA is a band accustomed to receive laurels for their deeds, especially in Japan, home to its largest fan base in the world.

There the group, in addition to a recognition of “rockstars”, have their albums always in the first positions in sales and sold out shows. But it seems that, finally, Brazil is beginning to look with due respect to HIBRIA.

After being confirmed at Rock In Rio, the group had its disc ‘Blind Ride’ declared one of the 60 “Great albums of Brazilian Metal” by the special issue of magazine Roadie Crew, celebrating 15 years of publishing history.

The album in question is the third group, launched in 2011 in Brazil by Voice Music label.

Revealed new album title

Next to the release of the new album, HIBRIA releases the title of the material.

Titled “Silent Revenge”, the lyrics of the new album were inspired by the Argentine film “The secret in their eyes”, a psychological thriller that deals with loss, grief, unfulfilled desires and revenge.

“The film was a great inspiration to write the lyrics of Silent Revenge. It was a perfect connection to ‘give voice’ to the weight and the aggressiveness of the new album”, said Abel Camargo, HIBRIA’s guitarist.

“Silent Revenge” will be released in Brazil on July 13 by Voice Music, and in Japan by King Records on June 26.

The Brazilian band HIBRIA released its new music video ‘Silence Will Make You Suffer’. The work was under the direction of Luis Mário Fontoura, cinematography of Livia Santos, art direction of Ana Musa and assembly and finishing by Denise Marchi.

The album, which will have its title released in a few days, will be released in Brazil by Voice Music on July 13. In Japan, the work will come out by King Records on June 26.

Japanese label announces the release date of new album

The release of the highly anticipated new album from HIBRIA, fourth of its career is near. The band’s label in Japan, King Records, has just announced the release date of the new work in Asia: June 26.

As is customary in the Land of the Rising Sun, an exclusively song for the Japanese market will come as a bonus track. Will be the nine tracks that make up the official tracklist and one extra specially composed by the band for the Japanese fans.

The album is being recorded at Hibria’s and Cidade Baixa studios under the production of Renato Osorio, also guitarist of the group. The mix is on account of another musician of the house, Benhur Lima and mastering is performed by the North American Mike Couzzi. A music video is also being recorded.

The release date in Brazil and other parts of the world will be announced very soon.
